Call Me Ishmael

The Call Me Ishmael project — named after the celebrated opening line of Moby-Dick — is an award-winning literary initiative that collects and shares anonymous voice messages about books people love.

An honoree for the National Book Foundation’s Innovations in Reading Prize, this project’s goal is to promote a lifelong love of reading by giving readers everywhere creative ways to discover and celebrate great books.
